As someone currently in the midst of wedding planning (technically almost at the end, but still) I offer this advice: sign up for an account on theknot.com, and use their checklist. It is really helpful for letting you know what should happen when in terms of making reservations, booking services, etc. Also, go with what you want, not with what the wedding-industrial complex says you MUST have. ^_~ It's a lot simpler and less stressful that way. Keeping stress to a minimum is a good thing!

Thank you so very much; actually, I'm a little surprised and pleased at how many people have already offered their services as wedding coordinator. The job market isn't quite that bad, is it? (lawl)

srsly though, we'll definitely check theknot out, but we've already got a couple of checklists to go through, and we knew right off we weren't going to go with some of the things mentioned (budget for lingerie, haw haw haw!). What we really want is an all-out Church wedding-- the reception however, is largely up for grabs as yet. -w-

Most important day thus far. Wait until you welcome your first child (if that happens). It's amazing how many important days there are, when you come to think about it.

I dunno, I thought about that too, but I seriously can't think about our future together too far without all capacitors short-circuiting; I was going to say 'happiest day of my life', but I've been saying that about every day so far. It is pretty amazing. :V
